Tattoos are fine if done right. I have seen all of 3 that I would say fit into that category for my personal taste. Most just look like half done hack jobs. As a general rule Names of things that may not be in your life for the duration are a bad Idea...girlfriends for instance.
Its your skin though, do what YOU like and **** what anyone else thinks. But you posted up here and asked for opinions, so your probably one of those people that does things to "fit in" by "standing out" and others opinions are what your after.

I think it's kinda cool, actually. I don't have any tattoos and will probably never get one because I'm too much of a wuss, but if I did get one I can almost guarantee it would be Supra-related. No matter what cars I own in the future, the Supra will always have a special place in my heart. It started my deep love of cars, taught me most of what I know, and has been a huge part of my life for five years. /sappy stuff
Bottom line: Do what you want and to hell with what other people think.

I feel exactly the same way, I never would, but if I did get a tattoo, it would be Supra-related as well! Even if i don't always own a Supra, it is a huge part of my life, and taught me every major thing I know about automotive technology, not to mention it's what got my direction in my life going towards mechanical engineering vs. having no idea before

Supras were a huge part of my life too, but I didn't get it ever imprinted in my skin, and i'm glad I didn't because they aren't a part of my life anymore. People grow out of things, but you can't grow out of a tattoo.
At least you didn't get it on your neck or anything.
