All the work thats going to make it look good again not worth it. You could however find a chassis for 500 or less and swap over all the parts.

Ouch, sucks man. Hopefully they can track down who did it. I dunno about your state, but i know here in Texas if a CDL carrier gets anything on their license it sticks, whould explain the driving off part...

Maybe 10 years ago, but not today. If you want a POS shell, sure...

Complete with engine, $500. They may be rare elsewhere but if you're up for a road trip you can get anything here.

The state needs harder driving tests if you ask me.
If I ever had a kid I'd ship it off to Finnland to learn how to drive. They treat driving like regular elementary school education.

hmmm... Found a 78 Corona 20R 5 speed W50 wagon. 7m heart transplant?

The next Supra I own will be a MK3 with boost. Won't be getting it until 2012 most likely, after my deployment.

I approve of the old school idea, but unless you're going for a total sleeper, I'd avoid the wagon. I seem to remember them being a good deal heavier than the other versions of the Corona...

lols, the wagon is heavy as shit, but it has like 70 rwhp. 7m would be a welcome upgrade.

and i have an n/a. not worth it to swap into another supra. even a mk2. im thinking celica if i want speed, corona or corolla wagon if looking for style. it wont win any drags, but will be fun.

and my n/a sounds beastly: 284 degree cams, 3" exhaust, head port... lope at idle ftw.

I do remember hearing your engine on another thread, it sounded pretty badass, no lie. 7m Mk2 upgrade is quite common actually. Header, exhaust, 7m, I would LOVE a 7m like yours in my Mk2. 6m cuts it, but it hates revving past 4500 at this altitude...

so sorry that you lost your car, and what a horrible way to find out......just seeing a couple of pieces laying on the ground. wow! i was going to go to the meet that night as well, but had to work late.

if you decide you might want to put the 7m back in a supra, i have one that would make a great drift car. its an 87 that i started to part out, but only sold some interior and all the mods. its a cali car with no rust to speak of. and would give you the car for free!

Thanks for all the support guys, but i've got that wagon for the 7m to sink my cash into for a bit. i won't have another supra without boost. so i'm going to wait til i have at least 10k to drop into a 2jz and kill some mkiv's. lol
