...it's time to wave bye bye, a case of the rust monster i'm afraid, cropped up over the last year and now it''ll never pass the MOT without £1000's of welding.

However, the goodies are being reshelled, so its not the end of the line just yet, and this one is in MINT condition ('92 N/A shell, colour coded trim).

Still, it's time to play the bugle for the old girl, and drink a pint of Thatchers in its honour :(

I thought I was buying LHD euro mirrors because the seller was in Germany...

but they turned out to be RHD, and it's actually not that bad, took only a few hours to get used to the optics, no more blind spot on the driver's side. Passenger side mirror is a tiny bit weird as the cars ARE that close (used to the whole "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" thing), but I use my rear view mirror to see behind, and I just turn my head like in the good ole' days (which you should be doing anyway)

Bring the mirrors to any decent glass shop, and they should be able to cut you the proper angles, as well as optics.
