Duane, RPS make a dual carbon carbon twin disk clutch for the 1jz, They couldn't make you a flywheel for your 7mgte??? or you didn't know about it??? It's for a R-154.

RPS , nope, they didn't want anything to do with it. So the Doc was right.

Nice clutch, looks super trick!! ;) My previous setup weighed ~12lbs with the flywheel. Take it apart, we all want to see exploded shots of the clutch assembly. Did spec torque test it? Also, you don't think you have to cut the snout off of the tranny front main seal housing? Are you installing this weekend? Ron

That's really badass Duane. Of course drivetrain componants will now be your next week link when you dump 800 ponies through that thing!

How does that TO bearing work? You do away with the stock fork/bearing/slave cylinder, etc. I assume, and that TO bearing travels in and out under hydraulic pressure? Where does it return to?

It looks like spec had a ton of aluminum they couldn't figure out what to do with, so they made duane a clutch :)

Doesn't look like the most elegant design, but I guess that's the best they can do for a low volume piece.
