My Super Twin Spec Clutch has arrived!

Joke Joke. HAHAHAHA, i just had to do it. At least I could see the clutch! LOL :biglaugh:
As many may or may not know, I am doing some R&D for Spec with this Multi disk clutch for the Supra. It has been a while but here it is!
. It is to be a direct bolt in that will (as I am told) hold up to 1500 RWTQ.
. It will have a stock feel and this kit comes with everything.
. The clutch is Spec will hold my power no problem and will have a stock like feel. (I told them my goal was 900 - 1000RWHP)
I will get more information later about the actual and accurate torque power etc..I do want to make sure you have 100% accurate information. I guess they forgot to put them in the box for me so I will call them about it.

how can a clutch like this have a "stock feel"? My RPS clutch is waaay different and only handles 1/2 or less of what this clutch has to offer

It could have half the clamp force and still hold the same as your current clutch.
Bling! Do you know the price tag for a regular Joe? I wasn't expecting a new master. Does this require any machining of the front bearing cover on the R154?

No machining, shimming or anything. I did say a direct bolt in. Actually. one thing that I will need to do is drill 2 holes in the inspection plate. I again just picked this up and once I install it, I can give feedback.

Looks like you will need to drill the firewall for the new master cylinder. It looks like it has three bolt holes.
Awsome looking clutch. If that comes in under 2k, Spec will be busy.

I only have one problem with it though. It's estimated to hold only 1500 rwtq, and as you know I'm working on my 1j and upping my power. Will they offer a stronger one for those of us making more than 1500 foot pounds of torque? I'd like to get one in the future, but it's got to be able to handle what I throw at it. I know you understand, and I'm in no way bashing this product. It seems perfect for your setup and it might even hold good for me, but it's alot of money to invest only to find out I need a triple disc.
