There are a number of sleeper SRT-4's in my area. Removed wing, understated stock wheels, ect. The horrible thing is most of them are 400+ HP and pick on damn near everything else in the area.

Then you have the kids in the stock SRT-4's with a BOV and open downpipe that think they're fast :3d_frown:

lol.. i read this .. and i realized that my boy has a mazdaspeed6 that he put up against one of those damn redlines.. and he barely beat it.. i have a stock 7m runiing 12lbs.. and i saw one of them pull up next to me on saturday night.. i thought for a second then i was just like.. nope.. i aint getting beat tonight lol.. he wanted to go so bad but i wasnt having it

Heh, when I brought my car to the dyno like, two years ago-ish, there was an SRT-4 there. He looked at my car (terrible, rust spots, slight body damage, completely faded paint, not a shiny spot on it) and laughed. He put down about 210fwhp. I backed up on the dyno, open downpipe, blown turbo (blowing smoke, chipped impeller blades, lots of shaft play) boost at 15psi, and pulled 289rwhp, and 295tq.

As I was flooring it in (4th?) gear, everyone backed up about 30ft from the ropes. LOL. Everyone commented on how my car is an absolute beast, and sounded like death. The SRT-4 kid was nowhere to be found!

(On a side note, the need for the aforementioned body work is the reason I took it off the road, and started a full chassis restoration)

As Noah told me my 2 1/2 inch exhaust is killing me, also a tired tranny doesn't help. It does eat me up to have the mighty 2j and not being able to take full advantage of it. :3d_frown:
