lol, yeah just noticed that this was moved. Sorry, been a WHILE since the last time I was on this forum. This is a C70 HPT (High Pressure Turbo) There were 2 models, the C70 LPT which accounts for most of the production from 1998-2004 the years that these were produced. The LPT was a 2.4 liter (Low pressure turbo) which was around 190 hp. The HPT was a 2.3 liter 245hp engine which was carried over from the 850R. Also known as the T5 it is "PRETTY" much the same as the engine in the S60R/V70R the ecu is diffrent, injectors, and the turbo as well some other random internals. But basically the same. As far as building them. That is why I bought it. When it comes to Volvo's the engine's are stout, internally there VERY strong, and very well thought out. There completely capible of making some high HP numbers. But there is very little aftermarket for them. Personally I love the backyard enginerring that goes on with these cars. I went to a meet in Charolette NC a couple months ago where a guy had a 280 hp 940 sedan that he had mega squirted with a Holset turbo off a cummins diesel truck. It sounded like a tractor, but that thing would move....lol....As for the tag, yeah I was on Swedespeed.com for a little while, but mainly I use Volvospeed, and t5d5.org.
