After having two stainless braided rubber drain lines crack, and spew oil all over everything, I decided to fix it for good:

The pictures are sideways. The gray part goes to the turbo, the black goes to the block

Copper drain line FTW. Built it for like 5 bucks in parts. I don't know why I didn't think of this before.

I wouldn't think the drain lines would crack since their isn't a large amount of pressure on the drain line. Luckily mine hasn't cracked, and I'm hoping it never does. (knocks on wood)

You wouldn't happen to have an extra 2jz water pipe laying around would you............:biglaugh:

it's not the oil pressure, it's the really hot oil in combination to being RIGHT beside the exhaust manifold that does it.

No, sorry, no extra 2JZ water necks/pipes, however, my friend has probably a dozen or so 2JZs sitting around his shop, I could ask him.

I'd really appreciate it if you can Rob. I need one in a bad way. Let me know if he has one and how much he wants for it.

This picture's a little outdated. Unfortunately, I have a RHD steering box to clear underneath there, to the oil drain has to come up around that.

i guess im confused..

what line's are you using, most ss braided lines i have seen have teflon inside's and are not rubber.

looks to me like you used a presstogether style an/barb that most people use for water lines and such?

im not critising, just curious what product's your having problems with, and if im related it corectly

i have ss/lines for my stock ct26, bought form drift motion, i under stood i shouldn't have no problems so long as they are not kinked.

I bought the hose so long ago, I couldn't tell you what it was. I made sure it was oil rated, but I have a feeling they may have sent me some water line instead. I don't care anyhow. Honestly the copper hard line is much cleaner looking, and tucks away better.

i kinda jimmy rigged mine.the drewgo mani front runner is in a tough position.i didn't want to clock the turbo to clear it.i ended up welding piece of the 7m turbo drain pipe to a section of 2jz pipe.i tried cleaning it up a bit to make it look factory.it does still get close to the mani but so does the stock drain.
