Its hard at first but before you know it you'll love having the satisfaction that you are completely independent. Being into cars, working on them, and loving it you shouldn't have any problems at all finding company you would want. Guys will probably flock to you just to hang out.

I was in the same situation a little over a year ago. I ended a 3 year relationship and had spent 24/7 with that person. I just tried to stay busy as possible and surround myself with friends. I was so proud of to become independent after that ordeal.

It is always when you least expect it that you meet someone. I was going through a "dry spell" in the dating scene when I was single and then I met someone wonderful and she became my wife. To keep myself from going nuts before that happened I just got involved in my hobbies more and hung out with friends more.

What do I do, well thats a very interesting question, most times I emerse myself in my car, if I'm broke which happens more often than not I begin a PS2 binge of GTA San Andreas and GT4 and a lil NFS Most Wanted....... Yeah, being single blows. Friends with benefits are always fun. I'm recovering after a breakup, and I'm working on my car a lot now... I don't know how many of you play music, but after a breakup I like going out and hitting up jazz clubs and sitting in with groups around the area. It's really relaxing. Plus it's a good way to meet new people. Basically the main thing to do is just to not close yourself up- go out. Do things. Meet new people. There's always someone that's smarter and hotter and has more in common with you than the last someone. Remember- finding that someone is like finding a needle in a haystack- it may be hard as hell and take forever, but they're there somewhere, and the only way you'll find them is by never giving up.
