Okay. You guys are gonna be soooo jealous.

I got bored and got tired of it looking at the fugly wheels, so I got creative with my bad self. :naughty:

With masking, scotchbriting, a bit of sanding, primer, flat black and clear black painting, and hardly letting coats dry in between, I finished all four wheels in about 25 minutes. :biglaugh:

So overall, for basically $1,000, I think I got a hell of a deal!

Well Chad, You probably don't have winters as bad as we do. Try bringing your ol' Supra down to Indiana for a winter and see just how "easy" it is to commute. :nono:
And even at that, I've got almost 100rwhp MORE than I did last winter...and last winter was just stupid. :nono: Getting stuck in parking spots because it wouldn't go anywhere....It was just rigottdamndiculous! :icon_conf By the end of the winter last year, I had right at 400lbs in sandbags in the back and it STILL spun everywhere when I "could" get moving. So...trust me when I say that driving my Supra this winter is just OUT of the question. ;)

Hehehehe, thats my point. No snow or ice in the Bay, not too much rain either.
I love Cali :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Great job on the wheels! Huge improvement, and looks really good.

^^Thanks. You're too kind. :icon_surp

Yeah, yeah...keep braggin about your weather.

Now it's my turn. Let me tell you how great it is to not have emissions or testing or anything like that! Open cutout, Open downpipe, Open turbo elbow, it's such a beautiful (but dirty) world! :D

On top of that, I don't have to worry about my state becoming an island in the near future. ;)

Hmmmmm, thats true.

But I get bored every time I go out there, there's nothing to do but the race, i can't imagine living there :p
And you said you're Korean?
All I've ever seen there are white, black, and hispanic people (90% of them being white) while in Indy. Oh, wait, I saw one Indian person one year.
Hehehehe, and its soooooo flat.....lol. I feel sorry for people stuck in the midwest, altho good point on the emissions thing.

And, have some rep back too lol(mine's like less than 1/4 of yours lol)
You deserve it for living in Indiana :-D

the 4.0 is literally bulletproof. my friend has been trying so hard to kill it for liek 2 years now and he hasnt. he even ran it without oil for a while and it is still going strong. needless to say, my family owns a 97 grand cherokee, and it is wonderfull in the snow. also does great 180s without too much roll.

Umm...No. You get BORED everytime you come out here. Other than being on the beach, what the hell can you do there that you can't in the "Midwest"? You got bored because you are unfamiliar with the environment, and you aren't familiar with the environment because you're not comfortable. There are TONS of things to do...and while there IS a lot of racing...there is soo much more to do.

And you say all you ever see are White, Black & Hispanics? You've GOT to be kidding me. Indy, like any and MANY other large cities in the world, have such a wiiiiiiiiiiiiide variety of backgrounds that it's not even funny. You obviously must have been on the downside part of Indy. And what do you mean, "flat"?
Try heading downtown on a Friday or Saturday night. I promise. You won't be "bored"...

And if you're of age, You DEFINATELY won't be bored (with all the clubs everywhere). Aside from that, You are THOUSANDS of miles away from Indiana to California, with different weather impacts, different styles & an overall different environment. Of course it's going to be different...but it's sure as hell not "dead".

And while I'm sort of on a rant for people thinking the Midwest is "slow".....if you really think that being in Cali is alllll that and poppin'...

Go visit Japan. It is truly a rush that you won't EVER experience in the United States...not even New York. The vibe in the air, the environment and the robotic ways of everyone in the streets is sooo depressing.

Ok, I'm done. I'm going to bed.

Hehehe, wow....lol

I know that not knowing the territory has to do w/ me not finding much to do (and, I'm only there for Indy wknd, so I don't do a whole lot of exploring) but in general things don't seem as interesting.

And yeah, it could just be that we were in a not-so-culturally-inclined part of the city, but I was dead serious that that was pretty much all the races I saw. Iono, I'm white, and I'm used to the Bay Area (the city I live in is only about 40~ish% white), I get bored of just a lot of other white people quickly, I like variety :p

Oh, yeah, I found a small couple blocks last time I was there that I think was the downtown, had some huge monument and a roundabout, a few shops, and some decent restaurants, I think a PF Changs, some steakhouses, and a few other nice looking places.

I do hold to the flat part tho, I'm convinced you can see from one side of the state to the other :-D

And, honestly, I wasn't too impressed w/ NYC. It was a great time being there, but it just seemed like San Fran w/o the hills, cable cars, bums (not that I minded that), and more taxis. But thats just me......

Hehe, so anyways I'm done too, hope you aren't taking any of this too seriously lol, Cali's not necessarily the place to be either, but I do love the weather and ocean.
Later man!

No....definately not taking anything personally or anything lol...I just get tired of people saying that the Midwest in general is a deadspot.

And FYI: Indiana has some MAJOR hills /mini mountains that will make you feel riiiiiiiiight at home. And if you were by PF Changs and stuff, you were NO where near downtown....It WAS Indy...but definately not downtown. Downtown is HUGE and has layers of packed streets for miles.
