My new wheel combo, (few questions before ordering)

New wheel combo.

I am looking for people that have pics of a 315 tire on the rear of a MKIII Supra. I know, the body may need to be widened a little which wouldn't be a problem.

My new wheel combo I am going with is.

255x35/18" / 9" front
315/35-17" / 11" rear

How far out can you pull the fenders before you have to cut them?

I would like to see some angle shots if anyone has them so I can see just how far the wheel or tire will stick out from the body. Please list specs of combo when posting. :)

Thanks in advance
Duane

i had 315s for a while, but the wrong offset so the tires stuck out, i could post up a pic if you want, the wheels were 17x10.5 with a 27mm offset iirc

Duane has some camber though. I'd be sketchy about rubbing the coil over. I actually was rubbing on it once on my MK4 NA's with just a 245 tire. I think something closer to a +40 offset, with a rolled flat fender or trimmed fender.

looks like you got some work to do.you need to get that tire close to the coilover.being able to play with the offset should help.

I think he was just showing rim clearance. There is no way that is a 315 haha. Duane I will calculate some sizes in a bit and see if I can think of a good offset for you.

For 17" drag radials, the only options seem to be a 315 or 275, so Duane and I were talking about going with a 295 street tire. How much more traction could he gain with a 275 DR compared to a top-of-the-line street tire? Keep in mind, he's pushing over 650hp on the street.
