I need to hammer out a little arch underneath the fender walls.. Above where the wheel wells were. Then I wont scrape. I like how low I am but Moe's ride (firmness) is PERFECTO!

Heh not the wheel wells... Its where the fender meets with the chassis(i believe, Ive felt it. Never seen it) and its hitting my tires when I am cornering hard. Im gonna see if I can't hammer them flat. Just to delay the inevitable... Swaybars!

don't hammer them out yourself.. get them rolled somewhere... pros use a tool that attatches to where the rim mounts and then makes a perfect circle around it rolling the inner lip inwards... In addition to that professionals use a heat gun to warm up the paint so it doesnt crack when it's being rolled, so you dont get rust under there!

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure that's how it goes!

Get them rolled, Definitely.
You *can* do it yourself with a baseball bat and a heat gun, but someone with a fender roller is better suited for the job. It's far less ghetto that way.

That looks awesome, abit lower than my Eibach + KYB lowering. I like how low yours is, but I'm personally fine with mine, because I already have problems scraping on small dips. :aigo:

Poopie I finally bottomed out on a speed bump. I must have hit it a bit to fast. I hurt in many different ways = (

Not sure why you would want to go so low as to have your suspension travel gone, and your tires rubbing on the upper apron/strut rails...

Has your car been hit before? That shot of the upper rail appears to show some crush.

I've been running the TEMS tokiko's and B&G springs for a few years, and they have sagged down to the point where I don't like how low they are actually. The ride on progressively wound springs is bouncy too.

Next time around, I'm going to get coil overs with one rate springs. (Leaning towards the Tein setup, but there are some very nice alternatives out there now.)

I'm also going to RAISE the ride height so there is more ground clearance, and more suspension travel for better handling.

For that amount of money, that was a great deal! (Now you just need to raise up your car slighlty, I'd try adding some poly rings to the base of the springs, or just sandwich them between the strut cap and the strut tower to raise up the front and rear about 1/2" for more suspension travel, and ground clearance..)

How is the ride quality(too stiff, too soft? I know the dampning is adjustable. Can you tell a diff. when you mess with those settings?) and road feel with those TRD springs and struts?

As stated earlier, the ride quality is very nice. Its not too bouncy or rough at all. It is a little stiffer than stock, but lowers the car as much as an Eibach springs would.
I am comparing my ride to what I experienced with Eibachs and ST springs.
I also have ST sway bars on mycar, and I think that complements these springs quire well.

The other white car in this thread is not mine, its Hellslegion's and that is the one adjuster is referring too. That car has HKS spings/struts..
