Is that really a good idea?

Codes are your road map. One of three things may happen if you try this. 1. It'll throw a code and lead you in the right direction. 2. Whatever it is, will reveal itself by breaking completely. 3. Nothing. ;) I think it's a good idea.

That being said, here's another idea. Bend/flex/wiggle your CPS wires. Try to reposition them as much as possible. Don't be a tard and go pull on them like you're trying to start a lawnmower though! :biglaugh: We're just trying to locate one or more wires that may have a short/open in it. Use zipties if necessary to bundle them 'snuggly' (is that a word?) together or to hold them in a different position.

There may be a vibration at that particular rpm that causes your CPS wires to vibrate in just the right...or wrong way, causing your problem.

Good luck man!

Thanks that makes sense, the wires on the cps and the o2 wires by the turbo look kinda bad, I have not gotten around to cleaning them up.

The CPS wires are a common intermittent problem with our cars. They are right above the exhaust manifold. It gets a wee bit warm there! :)

Ok so update, i tried what the guy above suggested and i let it buck for a little to see if it threw codes and it didnt however I took it for its first long freeway trip and on a nice long pull from a 40 roll it threw a code, the codes were 21 and 42, o2 sensor and speed signal, the speed signal is a given since my speedo doesnt work, i looked into the o2 and its rigged on there, no plugs or harness just cut wires and electrical tape, and the bucking does go away after a while of driving, if the o2 malfunctions does the ecu haave a limp mode it goes into if the 02 is non functional? I think that might be my issue,

The O2 will not cause this problem...A/F feedback goes into open loop during power enrichment (i.e. you go to WOT). It will cause crappy fuel mileage/poor emissions and needs to be fixed.
A bad O2 signal will not cause the ECU to enter fail safe or back-up mode.

When you checked for IC piping leaks, did you pressurize the piping and IC up to the TB?

I would also take a closer look at the CPS wiring.

I ran outside and checked out the wires, there shot, theres tape and splices everywhere it looks like they chopped the harness and connected the same harness off another car, I guess i am going to call this case closed and see what can be done about the wiring, ill see if i can find a shop willing to mess with the wires cause i dont feel comfortable doing it myself, otherwise its off to look for another supra turbo. Thanks everyone for all your help
