is giving me some trouble after startup. It turns over but runs like crap for about 8-10 seconds before it bogs down completely and dies....I am getting good fuel and oil pressure. Could it be the IAC? maybe timing? oh btw my o2 sensor plug is broken so the sensor was running off of two wires instead of 3 (yeah i know...might want to get that fixed) ideas....

no i have not had a chance to check codes yet...it is raining outside

I would check the diagnostic trouble codes first. The link to do so is in my signature below.

The second thing that pops into my mind is that the timing is off.

runs for a few seconds then dies, but restarts and does the same thing again? Running off the cold start injector alone? Check to make sure the injectors are getting a signal.

I did not think about the injectors not getting signal....i will have to check that out...Thanks guys

no not rebuilt just scrubbed down with simple green and then painted with high temp paint.....i scrubbed hard:icon_bigg some seals were changed but that is it...

alright well i had codes 14 and 24 pop up...but adjusting the TPS and the CPS slightly fixed them both (i also swapped AFMs).....we checked the ECU for volt signals to the injectors and the ignitor and they were to spec....I had a serious vacuum leak with the line that goes from the bov to the hardline by the fuel rail...so that would be the reason for the crappy low idle and it bogging down.

my next question is related to fuel delivery...I have a AFPR, lex afm, PTE 550's, and a UEGo AEM wideband..... at idle (about 750) i have to be at 38psi of fuel to keep my AFRs at about 15.4......If i was to back it out to about 28-32 i am looking at about 17.8? do the PTEs just require more pressure or what do you guys think could be causing such lean AFRs at idle at reccomended fuel pressure?

My car as well as a friend's car ran lean as shit when the Lex first went on, that might be the problem by itself. Leave your FP in one place, let the TCCS sort it out. It took me about 300 miles.
