1. The vsv that controls the fuel pressure regulator...is it acceptable to remove this when using an afpr when performing bpu's? What are the possible negitive effects if removed?
2. The two vsv's have different part #'s but are they interchangeable? I've noticed that with no power to them, they route the same..
3. Does anybody have detailed pics of where and how exactly they mount under the intake?

Another sunday night of work
got iscv mounted with new rubber gromet+gasket
iscv/throttle coolant lines situated
got valve shims situated
routed some vac lines
Tested hood fitment with my afpr+bracket....I need to change it as it does indeed hit the hood.

Below is how I did mine on the 7M, you're intake may not allow it exactly like this but it might give you an idea.
Well I've been wrenching all weekend so far and got a bunch done!
Reinstalled the bottom inspection plate between the block and trans (previous owner didn't do it......finished installing the egr system....installed charcoal canister.....remounted my afpr as it didn't clear the hood.....picked up my safc2.....figured out some wireing....got the stock oil pressure sender installed....
Also...had a friend run speakers from the entertainment center down to the garage and picked up my propane heater as it's damn cold out!
did some drinking
took the oil pan off my spare motor and indeed it is rod knocked:-(.
the crank looked workable but still not awesome....the rod cap nuts were finger loose so thank god it didn't pop a rod threw the block

looks nice! i like the front timing cover, gave me some ideas for how im gonna paint my engine.

ordered threw Zankoku performance (misc vendor on here) $400 ish shipped my my door with every pipe needed which is the only kit cx sells that has every pipe included even though they say all their kits include every pipe.
The 3000pipe replacement has brackets for the pcv pipe and iscv pipe.
sweet man that kit looks real nice, quality seem good?
id scoop one up if i didn't already have a cooleeze set i got from someone on the forum here with a bov already on the piping, just need to pick me up a intercooler and 2 hoses

Ic is pretty damn big...I knew the measurements but it's much more shocking when you actually see it in front of you.
