How can you put a turbo into a 7mge? What parts are needed and what to do first? Pls help me.. Im a noobie. I hqve a 89 supra 7mge targa.

There's a sticky around the 7m-ge section. You'll need to remove the engine, and check how maintained it is first, and replace worn parts. Then start by gathering 7m-gte parts. Driftmotion makes an oil line feed and return kit for the 7m-ge. It does wonders. Mostly you'll need

1. Turbo wiring harness
2. Turbo ECU
3. Turbo gauge cluster (For tach and boost gauge)
4. Turbo injectors
5. Turbo fuel pressure regulator (On the fuel rail)
6. New fuel pump and filter (Not needed but HIGHLY recommended)
7. Turbo
8. Manifold
9. Intercooler
10. Intercooler piping
11. Oil filter housing and oil cooler lines
12. and other misc parts.

What better buying a used 7mgte then swap it or make my 7mge a turbo. Whats cheaper what do you prefer?? I cant decide on what to do swap a 7mgte or a 1jzgtte or just a na-t..
