No, but it is a classic color combo with history for the car.

Yeah, that car is pretty much epic win.

Nice spotting! I've seen 3 Ford GTs in my home town now :aigo:, but they're still an event to see.

Best part - when the Ford GTs first came back, someone in town bought a Red/White one. A few months later, somebody else in the same neighborhood bought one with the exact same color scheme, but with a a personalized plate "GT40". How much would that suck to spend $150,000 and have your neighbor get the same damn thing :icon_razz

maybe it was the same one, but they just got custom plates :biglaugh:

jk, that would suck though if you pay that much for a car and it's rarity, and then your neighbor gets the same one

too bad his plate is wrong. it should say gt44. the gt40 was called a gt40 as the height of the roof was 40" from the ground. the ford gt is at 44". nice car none the less, they do drive very nice :D

yeah but its not gt"40" if its too high! I would not mind building a gt40. I wonder how many fans or owners that car has that dont know about the original gt40. would be nice to know haha. I would love to roll up to someone unaware in their gt with a gt40 kit car. There like wtf is that. It only looks a little different but definatley enough to raise eyebrows haha
