youch... At least he wasn't out to screw you. I like officers like that.

I got tagged for 55 in a 30... In NY I think that's reckless driving and arrestable. But, they had just taken my uncle off of life support and I was a little distraction. Ended up with an $80 parking ticket (Better than my $200 ticket for 71 in a 55 the day before I left for Navy stuff for a month, even after I bribed the judge that I've known forever .)

i usually have good luck with cops.....ive had many warnings and reduced fines...or they over look alot of things they could have fined me for....

i usually dont ask for forgiveness....what i do is....pull over in a spot that the cop can get out of his car safely instead of stopping on the roads sholder...so usually in a parking lot...roll down both windows shut the car off and pull the keys and stick both hands out the drivers window....ive had many cops ask if i was ever arrested before because of this, they usually ask you to do that if you are in trouble...they like seeing your hands....cops thank me for it usually.

once ran a red light that just turned red....i scared the hell out of the cop cause i had a bbgun in the glove box that i forgot about....he about shit a brick when i poped it open lol.....as soon as i saw it i quickly said "ITS A BB GUN DONT WORRY!"....he said i about got myself shot....but he let me off with a warning after he took my bb gun....gave it back though and said its a wise idea not to leave a bb gun in the car.

another time i got pulled over for doing 69 in a 45 by a state trooper.....i was driveing without insurance cause i couldnt afford it at the time...shame on me!....but i had an expired insurnace card and the cop took it and i was sweating bullets.....cop came back and said your card says its expired but im sure you have insurance so get a new card.....he said i should have your car towed but just get this updated....i told him i have the other card at home still in the envelope but im lazy.....just got a speeding ticket.

it always helps to have a family member in the force. i got pulled for 91 in a 55. my grandma is a retired officer, so she called the officer that pulled me over. he made it disappear.

ive been in that same boat you are with the liscense thing before. it seems like it takes forever to get those points off.

doesnt it though!!!!! i had to retake my drivers exam thing to reduce points....was easy as balls but was at such a pain in my ass!

if people would get the fuck out my way when im driveing there wouldn't be an issue! lol

i have this problem....if im behind a line of cars that cant seem to pick the speed at which they want to travel then i will do everything in my power to get infront of them because i dont want to get into an accident....i just hate haveing cars infront of me!....when i drive home from work im the only one on the road and i will do usually 5 under the speedlimit because there is no cars behind me or infront of me so i can take my time....but as soon as i hit traffic i feel the need to haul ass and get infront of everything so that way the danger is behind me.

I think the Late George Carlin said it best.

" People that drive slower than you are IDIOTS. People that drive faster than you are MANIACS!"

I always chuckle when I hear that line from him because, it is true! lol

I just show my DPS Fire ID and get a warning or sometimes not even that, just a "take it easy". :icon_razz

I better be careful driving home tonight...

Oddly enough, I haven't gotten pulled over in my Supra since I got it. :naughty: Even though I still drive quite "spiritedly". But l lost my licence for 2 months driving my Celica for getting two speeding tickets in a year. :3d_frown:

Best one ever I was doing 170 in a 90 zone in my Celica, got pulled, cop gave me a speeding ticket, I challenged it and the cop didn't show up so I got away with it.:evil2:

Dude if you are one ticket away from losing your licence you have got a problem and maybe need to take a drivers training course or something. Im not trying to be a dick or anything but shit man, slow the fuck down, pay attention to what you are doing and whats around you.

Ive had one ticket in the past 6 or 7 years and it was in a speed trap town. Its also not like I havent had fast cars either.

I can understand the occasional slip up but damn man...you need to learn where and when to let it rip and where not to.

i had a morning full of fail myself. i got a speeding ticket and had my tags taken. the dmv said i didnt have insurance, which i do. i tried to show the officer my proof of insurance and my receipt where it was just paid. he said he didnt care and that was something i need to take up with the dmv. and of course it was july 4th. i called and got ahold of hi seargent and he said it was my problem. i told him i changed insurance companies a few months ago. he said that the change probably didnt get put inot the system and take it up with the dmv.

so for the highjack.

LOL, I was up at 5:30am again (breakup has caused me to be a morning person...weird), and went on a 3 mile walk/jog.

Once the sun comes up it's hell here...
