I just finished my car in preperation for TX2K6 and decided to beat the shit out of her just incase something breaks. My buddy Jon (USFMKIV on SF) just got his car back from home. It's a 94 TT with an intake making 302 to the wheels. I've got my 91 Turbo 5spd with 550's, hardpipes, ic, SC61, full exhaust, tial wg with .9 spring, HKS VPC, GCC, and Fcon. We hopped on our local "track" and went from a 3rd gear roll. I was assuming the mkiv would take me for a walk naturally from all the videos and monster mkiv's that I'm used to seeing. His car is pretty stout for what it is. But anyways.........back to the run
We both line up, and I hear him brake boosting. He beeps to three and we take off. Right off the bat, I leave him in my dust. The sc61 pulls hard as hell up top and by fourth, I've got easily 4 cars on him. IdealSupra (Jayson) was in the passenger seat with me just so that's where the number of cars came from :naughty:
We managed to get one more run in so Ideal suggested to let him get a car and the jump. Three beeps, and he takes off. After he got his lengths I took off and quickly started to reel him in.
Needless to say it was an awesome night. I can't wait for TX2K6! IdealSupra, DrBowser, and PSIFactor will be leaving tomorrow night for Texas so we'll see some of you guys and gals there.
