OK, i don't mean to jack the thread but I didn't want to start my own thread... maybe it will help you come to terms with what you like about each car too but..

How's a 5.0 compared to the supra as far as being a daily driver? My supra isn't sounding good, and if it's what i think it is, i can't really afford to fix it so i've been looking for another car. This 5.0 mustang with a blown front tire is sitting at my school for $2,200 and i'm tempted....

but its against everything i've come to look for in a car but they dont seem all that bad. i'm just wondering if i should stray away or add it to my list of possible replacements... i dont think they look all that bad really...

i hate the rims on this one, i thought with some nice newer mustang rims it could look pretty good. it's got 140k miles though i dunno.

in responce to you original post, i'd say supra over the mustang. put OEM parts back on the stang, sell the upgraded parts to the highest bidder and use it to have fun with the supra. (yeah sounds hypocritical but i need a new car, so i'm special. ) do you have pics of both cars? post a nice pic of each.

what's wrong with the supra? (this goes for both of you)

don't get me wrong, I do like the look of fox bodies, and they are pretty easy to make fast, but their build quality SUCKS compared to the supra...

i looked at the mustang today and the paint was faded. it's x'd off my list.

i have a rodkock-remeniscant sound coming from my engine or transmission. i pulled plugs today and it didn't really reveal anything, it just made it run like crap and that didn't really help me listen to the noise. i'll have to do it on startup i guess.

this weekend, if there's time, i'll do some more work, maybe take of belts to make sure its not the PS or AC rattling when i start her up... needs fresh fluids too. i'm just so damn busy nowdays.
