Swapping to '89+ front will make the car look LESS aggressive, if anything. Pre '89 front looks nasty. Lay on your stomach about 15 feet in front of your car and look at it. You will understand.

As for pre '89 lips, they're hard to come by in original form, but there are a few aftermarket options such as Shine, CFX (took me forever to find one), and a few others. Pre '89 with a good lip on it looks incredible.

Agreed. This is reason I kept my '87 front end. Now once I put the 3-hole lip on, it should look very mean.

I am not opposed to leaving the pre-89 bumper on, but am wanting a bit more aggressive look and my lower lip options are not very high for the pre-89 bumper.

Any ideas on front lips for the stock pre-89 bumper?

If only Duane/CFX would make his CF lip again.

Going all pre 89 myself, I have thought about getting 89-92 tailights, and it doesnt look too strange when kept with the pre 89 front, I have a friend who has it setup like this and I think it is sick looking. Either way, nice car. But if you do deciede to upgrade to later model parts, make sure to get the 89-92 side molding. Best of luck on your car.

I've seen the Shine one, his products rock, used them many times in the past. But there is not a good pic of the lip on the pre-89 bumper. CFX never heard of it.

I believe Jaguar still has one or two available. Send him a PM and you might get lucky. I'm pretty sure he dropped the price on them as well.

Personally one of my favorite colors. I like the match up with the wheels too. Looking good. I would definately rock the pre89 set up though.

I almost got those rims in grey for my car, but ended up sticking with my original plan and ordered the 502's in the same sizes as you did. They're supposed to arrive Monday;

I'll be using 235/40/18's up front, and 265/35/18's in the back. Hopefully, I won't have any rubbing issues myself(same offsets as you)
