My z32 4pot calipers and rotors.

Not sure if ill bother using these rotors as i might just go to slotted discs.

Will probably get slotted rotors for the rear and run mintex brakes all round with better fluid.

Should stop as well as it goes.

big thanks to cruzida/peewee for the write up. Will pm you soon about the other bits i need for the conversion.

i suppose i should mention abit more of the history of this car.

I drove down to palmy to look at this after seeing the following pics.
I was looking at buying an st162 celica at the time, but my mate suggested the MA61 which was advertised on toyspeed (the old forum) at the time.

Its come along way since being an $800 bucket of rust.

productive day today, had the injectors ultrasonically cleaned and flowed, all within spec.
And started cleaning up bits and pieces in preparation of getting the bottom end stuff back.

Basically just cleaned down and then shot blasted ($500kg for the shot!!!)

looking like 2.5million bucks now.
p953549_1.jpg

Decided on powder coating some of the parts that are nice and clean now due to the shot blasting, so will post pictures when i get that done. (probably next weekend)
gave the car a wash today, its amazing how dirty it can get just by sitting in the garage.

My lovely g/f vacuumed the interior and cleaned the glass. Need to find a new drivers side door seal (bit that attaches to the car) how much can you aussies get those for?

Anyway some pics of the cleaning action.

Also will the bosch blow off valve still be alright? or should i look at upgrading it to something else? if so to what? cheers

well not much to report as of late.
my 5 stud front hubs arrived big thanks to callum-wdebdy for those
Just about ready to install the z32 front brakes with the front hubs.

Some bits arrived from toyota, thanks Warwick (mr_revhead)
p953561_1.jpg

got some 5 stud rear hubs on their way from australia, so will be needing to find me some suitable wheels soon! not sure if i want to stay with 15s, or go bigger?

ordered some new stickers for the rear hatch, thanks to Ryley from toymods
p953561_2.jpg

Just waiting to hear about a rear camber kit and then i will sort out the badass camber that i have.

well i got off my ass and did some work today.
Tools required, craft knife, 17mm socket with rachet and bottle opener.
p953561_3.jpg

The bushes came as one piece with no cut in it (needed to be like this to be made) so you need to look at the stock bushes and decide where you want to make the cut. I could possibly get them cut before shipping out.
p953561_4.jpg

Undo the 2 17mm bolts on each bracket and then remove the bracket. lift the rack up a little bit and pull out the stock bushes.
p953561_5.jpg

I took the time to spray abit of degreaser around the place and removed some bolts which were stuck between the crossmember and the steering rack. (im sure you will find at least one there too)
p953561_6.jpg

Wait for the degreaser to evaporate and then slide in the new bushes.
p953561_7.jpg

Put the brackets back on and tighten the 17mm bolts back up.

More bush than Jesus!

then have a beer
p953561_8.jpg

so with the new 3 row core radiator, new i/c and the new oil coolers to go with the other oil cooler(size of 2 7mgte oil coolers) which ill now use for power steering, ill have more cooling than jesus.

Just need a beer cooler now!

picked up diff today, Diffs R Us did a good job of setting it up.
Seems really tight, so should be sweet.

Camber kit has arrived(big thanks to Norbie), so ill get that welded in,

going to paint the diff silver, so its easier to see if its leaking.

Just gotta work out what diff oil to run, but apparantly i can use just normal diff oil for this type of lsd.

bring on the skids
