While these cars are heavy and solid, they are not death proof. Just remember our recent loss of Carson Howard, who struck a pole on the opposite side of the car. I cannot imagine his looking much different and he died.
Cliffs: Don't succumb to a false sense of security just because it's a Supra.

Glad your both moderatly ok. But still sorry for your supra. I like to store my supra. Im so scard to drive it in the snow i would rather drive my parents UGLY teal mini van

Black Ice is not literally black, it's the same colour as what is underneath of it. It's formed when a layer of moisture on a surface freezes, leaving a very thin and almost invisible layer of ice on that surface (in this case, the road). It does make asphault reflect more light and it usually only exists in certain temprature ranges.

Easily one of the most dangerous things to come across driving because it can happen any time of year, not just in the winter, if conditions are right.

I've come across some on foot, and it's no joke... you cannot see it. It looked like normal road, but it was as slippery as a virgin on prom night.

Doesn't matter what car you have, even if its AWD. Black ice could put you into a tree/pole anywhere with any car.

Anyone from up north can tell you that the feeling of driving over a bridge that has "iced' will make you pucker like nothing else.... You'll just be driving along, in dry cold weather, and the next thing you know is you are sideways in the middle of an overpass.... going 65 or 70....

I know. It is sarcasm. All ice looks the same. I grew up driving on it. Learn to drive people. Quit making excuses for driving too fast on a wet road when below freezing.

Seriously, glad he is ok, our cars aren't actually important.

My rule: don't drive aggressively in the winter.

No CTsupra it wasnt a parking lot it wa a road we just left a carr fire while watching the firemen put the car out how weird is that??? the parking lot was a school on the side of the road witch the overpass poll we hit was to let kids walk across the road an overpass kind of like
