Cool, I figured it was intentional just never seen it before because I guess as you said people cover them.

I'd like to see more pictures with the fogs and head lights on together.

real deep. i did a retro for a friend and the deal was i would do the labor and instead take the same set for a retro as payment. he came through, so there are only 2 mkiii with this set up

Those will work. I just opened for the black internals.

There are 3 major parts to this unit.
1 hid ballast and bulb ( ds2 )
2 projector housing ( purchased through retrofitsource.com)
3 h4 housing that has been cut to place the projector into.
