Get a 180 degree thermostat, drop that in, WITH A NEW SEAL, as well new upper/lower radiator hoses (sounds like it's due anyway)

Those GM setups MUST have a thermostat, in order to cool correctly.

Stop stressing so much! It really doesn't help anything...okay, with that said...yes, it still can be okay, just replace those parts and see what happens, then go from there.

or the infaues leaking head gasket

well, Im hoping not a plugged rad, but heres the thing if it were a plugged rad would I feel coolant in the upper hose trying to go into the head?

Ill figure it out soon this weekend, I need this thing to work for me.
