its auto, needs to get built auto or swap to 5spd when I get the funds. How's your swap coming?

slow but steady. had some *financial* trouble with driftmotion today so its going to come to a screetching halt for about a week but hopefully it clears up.

your car looks good :) even with the damage, i would definitally do what you are doing thats for sure i would never give up!

thinking about going with a saturn sky shift knob as i dont really have a shift knob :) and i liked theirs, and it 8should* feel right at home as they are practically the same transmissions :biglaugh:

TRD is a direct fit, is weighted (helps with shifting) and is real leather...

I'm gonna have to get some saddle soap for my wheelskins...

Too long for this. I pm'ed you.

I will say that I am gratefull for all the help/support of everyone. In alb. my bro's wife's friend is a doctor and a clothes horse to say. well he gave me like 20 pair of slacks, 4 pairs of shoes, belts shirts. Very nice clothes. I was also very fortunate in that I had SAVED up for a rainy day.

Good lesson here. Alway's have some extra cash for emergency.

Looking awesome once again George. That car was perfect before the storm guys, here are some pictures that I took of it years ago in Houston for TX2K5! Hope to see it again at TX2K8.

Lance - thanks for the props and pics. Who's that guy on the trailer in the stripe shirt. Lol.

dok33 - sleeper all the way!!! sawblades...I guess if you have something long enough get attached to them.:sarcasm:

OfnaRcR4 - mucho gracias amigo!!! Me too!

Poodles - Original bumper got hungry and ate a semi's tire for lunch.:icon_evil

Well hopefully will have it completed soon!! Waiting on some interior parts. A/c should be working as of today. I'm impressed with how many great builds we have on the forum. It's nice to see so many well kept mk3's out there.

Ahh! A/C is working now. No ac and Gulf Coast not a good combo.:3d_frown:

Swapped the mk3 for mk4 wheels. List is getting smaller.:icon_bigg

Any input on coilovers/springs? Would like to keep the soft supra ride till I get to track and then change settings.

I like my stock springs, swaybars are the only really needed accessory to the suspension as the stock ones are weak...

I want to lower my car, but the area I live in now has railroad tracks that almost bottom out my car now...
