well since Katrina messed with my 89 i've come along way. Here's how Katrina treated my supra. If you look at some of these you can see what was once a 8 or 10 car garage that all that is left is the blue lifts.

The insurance company totalled the car out and I bought it back from them.

Car has been in shop for almost 2 yrs now.

to be continued.

jsnowman Look closer the engine bay used to be spotless. Now is weathered with water spots and bolts are rusted, very much work to done here.
As far as plans for car, my goal is to get it back to the shape it was in before the storm. Some of you might remember the car from before. Lance, Shane, Brandon and Johnny saw it out in Texas 2k4.

the story continues-

in Oct. after the storm relocated out to Las Vegas.
sold house in MS and bought a condo out there. Picked up this to get around for a while.

Well for 7 months the guy who was supposed to buy the ms house kept promising to come thru and didn't buy it.

In the meantime I had the supra shipped up to vegas and had the restoration started. The car sat with back windows broken for almost a year. Talk about getting filthy on the inside. Here's what the interior looked like before the storm.

you live in vegas? if so, id love to have a gander sometime!

I moved out there right after storm, but I had to move back to MS to fix the house, buyer never came through after 7months of saying he was going to. Do you know Tony at Final Stage?

WOW! The car is looking great!

Sorry I didn't answer your PM. I did not have to make the trip tonight, but I should be coming over sometime Sunday night. I'd love to get a close look at that car. I hope my coming Red paint looks close to that good.

may I ask how much the paintjob and bodywork cost?

looks so damn clean, it's people like you that don't give up and let another MKIII go to the crusher that inspire me...

I was the guy with the ballooning upper radiator hose at the austin meet... new radiator, fan clutch, fan shroud, hoses, t-stat, water pump, and she never overheats now
