I was originally going to make a "final" set up once i change my turbo to a t67 but these past few days its been really hot so i figure id make a quick cold air box and ic block off. So i thought id would be quick(took me about 6 hours THATS excluding making the template since i did that before.)

2 hours of that was learning HOW NOT to cut the acrylic Plastic :3d_frown: (broke the first ic BLOCK OFF)

I preaty much used all stock holes so i wouldnt need to make a new one.

AND as for the PS. it will be relocated OUTSIDE the box.

TOTAL COST: $43

would have been $5 less but my first IC block off crack when i was finishing the cut.

Note I painter the IC block off. and will paint the side walls of the cold airbox later.

anyways heres the picture.

gheto but hope it works and last "a bit" till i can make a metal one.

Indeed!
Not ghetto at all, do you also have a hose from the foglight orso for fresh air?

thats what i was thinking of doing but i like my fog light.

also any sudgestion on what kind of material i can use to "fill" in the gap? as you can see the holes on the boxes are a lil to big.

i was thiking maybe some sort of soft plastic.

and what do you guys think about the ic block off?

should i keep it black? white? or just plain clear like the box?

Very nice job!!

DoO you have a template of the block-off plate? How does it stay attached??

What's those 2 "pins" that's sticking up just behind the bloc-off plate??

werd, or atleast leave the top-plate of the box clear
I don't see a way to nicely close the gaps without making a mess, just make new ones:)

Yeah thats what i was thinking. jimi87-t did it on his airbox. i got the idea from him.

Dude, start making even better version of your airbox block off setup, I'd buy one. I like the IC block off too I need to get one I'm just hella broke.

unfortunately i cant make it due to peoples setup. theirs will defer from mine so it wont work. unless i make one for a stock set up.

once i finish my other supra with stock accordian hose set upi might decide to do so.

yup you have to. otherwise youll waste material.

and it attach using the two "hood Support".

the two pins is for the CF hood. last owner installed it. i rather use the stock hoodlatch but its done. the CF would look fugly with a hole and no pins.
