so i have an 88 supra turbo, targa, 5 spd. just figured i would post and see what you guys think.no current upgrades aside from intake, 89+JDM tails, and a, sub-par exhaust in my opinion. i do have 680cc injectors awaiting a flow test and install along with a lex-afm.
planned upgrades:
new exhaust including a DDP and de-cat
aem ems with boost solenoid, wideband, etc
mhg and arps
tein coilovers
staggered tsw snettertons
and a few others

yeh, im planning on a whole new repaint(same color) im going to have a body shop vent my hood(its pretty hot around here especially in summer) but im glad you like it, i have had some people say they like it and others say they dont but either way, im ok with it and im pretty sure its a rare find(factory two-tone) i dont have pics of staggered snettertons but ill add a link to a pic of the wheels if you dont know what they look like.

obviously this is not my car(or a supra) but i havent found one with these wheels. my back wheels should look a lot like this, same lip depth i mean

yeh i have seen that car on SF. i am not sure if his is the same paint code as mine or not. apparently there were two different two-tone blue combinations. one had blue metallic, and mine, has light blue metallic. as i said, i am not sure what his has. but thank you.

yeh i think it is. his is the only one i have ever seen (other than mine of course) his paint is in a little better condition than mine, but im tryin to get the money to redo mine

oh nice, you have the same paint code as me(there is another two tone blue but its 24D) i think we might have some pretty rare paint. mine is a 5 spd though, if you didnt read the beginning

Yeah I saw that, yeah this paint option is probably one if the rarest it was only offered in 1988 and was optional according to the brochure you had to order one from the dealer. What's the build date on yours and the last six digits on your vin #?

Mine rolled off the line June 1988 one of the last 88's.

nice, maybe that will up the value of our cars in the future. i almost changed the color to solid dark blue pearl, everyone was saying that there was no factory two-tone so i figured it was probably just blue, but then i did some researching and decided to keep mine how it is. i guess they are rare enough that people didnt know they existed. it kinda sucks that one was lost in the storm but hey, it makes ours even more special. how many miles do you have on yours?

Currently 110K miles so far had 107k when I got it in 07

you've got less than me, i have 128k and its my daily driver right now..hopefully gunna get another car and turn this into a project
