For now that is what i want to achieve. HP is like women you can never have enough of it. LOl Well that is what my pocket can afford for now.

well with ur setup u could get 400. then u should save up for forged internals before buying a better turbo kit and turning up the boost

I have but it seems that ever one has there opinion and its hard to tell which one is the best. I've heard cp pistons eagle rods, probe pistons eagle rods, Weisco etc. so not sure.

Jesus guys!!! Yall are sending this dude on a wild goose chase!

Dear op

400 can be had on a bone stock healthy 7mgte....your first mod should be to install a new headgasket properly (metal gasket of your choice and proper machining)....people have made 400hp on 57trim ct-26's, but they also know how to tune...map ecu won't net you much performance....your best bet is a safc2 or maftpro....internals don't need to be touched unless the engine is shot anyway!

7ms come stock with forged connecting rods and crank which have proven themselves reliable above 400 hp so no need to go that route unless you really want to build an engine.

I recomend you continue to read and study build threads n such as you'll see what people have success with....this is all info that you should already have learned before you start trying to make more power! If you want to talk to someone about making power and how to do it then talk to someone actually making power....I'd like to know what power all these other people are running who keep spouting off are pushing....

I'm not making any power at the moment but I've read and read and read what works....I'll worry about pushing more boost when my car is put back together.

Most of these mods were done to the car when i bought it

So why are you so gunhoe on making more power? If the car is that new to you then don't you see it wise to maybe do some more important work to it...the car is old as hell after all...

If it's running a stock engine then it's just a matter of time till the headgasket blows so wouldn't you see it wise to tackle that first?

Just try not to get ahead of yourself as it will not work out very well in the end.

Have you seen the turbo kit on driftmotion.com. Just want an opinion

My friend is running the turbo kit on a 1j...different manifold is all....it's a nice kit for what you pay and damn is it a fun car!

I personally don't see a problem with it...he is making 300+ hp with it without a tune and pretty low boost....turbo can do much more!

Last time I was over there he was working on mk3 that had a 2jz swap and it had a big ass 88mm turbo on it. He said he was building a hayabusa killer.
