my eye is swollen... help ?

um ok, not drunk or anything but,
the last day or so, my eye has been like irritated or something , like maybe when you have a pimple or zit forming before you can see it. mainly when I squint so to say I feel this pressure or something ,


now like 2 min ago, I went to the bathroom to look at it an I can see the part that right under the lower eye lashes is all swollen an aliitle red, like there is some build up or something ...

it looks like hell,, any advice here , or should I just drink some beer to numb the slight sting ...

its not my eye ball or anything, , just the skin thats swollen a bit on the outside lower the bottum eye lashes

sometime you can get a small eyelash-zit type thing. a sty i think they are called. do you have sensitive eyelashes right now? i would definitely see a doctor or optometrist.... could be serious...i'm not one so i couldnt say.

been near any dust or worksites lately? could be something stuck in your eye... allergies?

i've had a sty or two before... just an infected eyelash from touching it with something on your hand....arm...etc... dunno if thats what is it though. my optometrist had me rub my eyelid/eyelashes with a warm rag a couple times a day, i think it helped. if it IS a sty its just like opening a pimple...but on your eyelid. and one or two eyelashes will be sensitive as SHIT!! tug your eyelashes gently and if you can feel a single one or two that hurts way more, (assuming this ordeal is painful) i'd guess its a little infection on that hair. BUT this could be serious get it checked out ASAP or call your eye doctor at the very least and ask his/her opinion.

i hope thats all it is is a sty, never had this before, , well, I was cutting my grass for the past 2 days, an changed my oil today, might have touched my eyes,.

no, my lower eye lashes dont hurt, just that lower sking thats right about ur cheek that hurts a bit , I guess from the pressure...

My vote is something from the yard has irritated it. Have you tried visine or any type of eye flush to see if that helps?

I get those every now and then. Not real often, maybe once or twice a year for the last few years.

It's probably no biggie, but the others are certainly right about not fucking around with your eyes. If it doesn't look or feel like a localized bump (pimple), get that shit checked.

If its a zit,(They form in the weirdest places),your gonna be in alot of pain and look like like an extra from the movie,"Eye Herpes;the secret killer"
