No problem. I wasn't trying to start anything, just being a smart ass because I thought it was funny. No hard feelings.
Hey man, I'm all about being a smart-ass, so no problem there. I just haven't conversed with you at all before and didn't know what angle you were playing there. Now I know. ;)

I really like cars in general. Toyota and Nissan are my favorite brands but that doesn't make me an "import guy." Japan, Germany and America all make some great cars-real life, everyday cars-and I'm pretty picky at what I chose to like. Refinement is something that the American companies never have mastered, though.

more like "back to waxing the new car". LOL

I spent 4 hours by myself cleaning it. My dad and brother were mowing the lawn, the sky was all gloomy and I said to myself "I am going to wash the Porsche".

Since the supra isnt here at the house, I got to do somethign on some car hahahah

We just found out who was the original owner of the porsche ( we are 2nd owners).

My father just got off the phone with him about transferring the warranty into my dads name. Nice guy to talk to.

Me and my dad cant wait to see how much a service will be to keep the original warranty intact. :aigo:

Well you have to Pay to Play as they say. nothing is cheap.

porsche warranties are well worth it. where BMW and any other company limits the use of the car to daily riving use, porsche warranties vehicles which have been raced and driven to the brink.

yep!

The warranties are VERY finicky too! Depending on who sells and who buys the car, the warranty can be voided just by THAT!

If the porsche is sold through a dealer that does not have a license to work on them (only available through porsche) the warranty on the car is completely voided! Hence the reason only to buy a new(er) porsche from a factory authorized dealership or just buy a certified one.

The roof coming off of the z06 is actually a way to make the car faster. Chevy made it so that when you hit a certain speed the roof flies off and you get an extra kick. Its a key engineering point and it was designed to help beat those pesky 911's.

No....No...NO.. You got it wrong, the engineers were sitting around watching The Fast and the Furious and decided they wanted there car to be madd JDM Tyte yo, like the MKIV, with the roof flying off at highway speeds and everything.

Edit: Sorry squid, didn't see you beat me to the punch. :p
