My Car Wont Sart, But If I Push It, it Starts Right Up And Drives Perfectly

Look what I found! There are two different types, and I have never noticed that. The two have similar but different connectors. I've never seen anything about this, so I felt the need to post the picture, and give some info on those connectors.

This is what you are looking for to disable the alarm.

I'm using schematic analysis and your feedback to narrow things down. That the headlights work tells me your battery positive, negative, and battery fusible link are good. That the brake lights work tells me your alternator fusible link is good. That leaves either the 40 amp fusible link or the ignition switch itself. Check the 40A FL AM1 link in the fuse box under the hood:

I'm assuming that in addition to ungrounding that wire you also hooked it back up to where it was before...

yeah i ungrounded it already


im checking it right now and it seems fine...

i have no radio lol
my cig doesnt work

and neither do my whipers

But the turn signals do? And again, I understand you ungrounded that wire but did you reconnect it to where it was before?

i uploaded a pic of the box i THOUGHT was the factory alarm


and it also has a blue and orange wire on the connecter on the right

yes the signlas work
and i put back the wire that i grounded

If the turn signals work the ignition switch is good. Odd that the wipers don't. All fuses in the driver's footwell good?

i found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!


on the part where you turn the key it has a lil pool/key thing that fell off

i took pictures


the white box thing is what turn the light dash on


and the black thing is connected to that with a pool key like thing that broke off

Ok, I see what happened. The ignition switch is electrically good but you had a mechanical failure. Since the turn signals and wipers get electricity from the same place on the ignition switch it's odd one worked and the other didn't though...

i found the anit theft boxy thing
and i cut the blue/orange cable

now the car doesnt want to start
i grounded it and such

i connected a wire from the neg on the battery to the blue and orange wire and it still doesnt want to start..

Which end of the wire did you ground? You know, all of this would be easier if you just took IJ's advice, bought a test light, and did some real diagnostics instead of flailing around...

i did and it all lead to the factory alarm
the starter is in good condition
the wires are in good condition

the wire that i grounded was the wire running up into the rest of them not off the male

i re did some wires and it worked
just have the same problem
it cranks and cranks and cranks but no start..

So you grounded the wire going into the alarm computer? That's not going to work...

Now you got it to crank? Time to check for spark and fuel...
