so if i wanted one car like yours...how much would it cost to ship the 91706.

Yeah.. hellslegion is right. Its next to impossible to get RHD cars imported to the states. Very very hard. The laws are a lot stricter.

It's not really that difficult to get a RHD car in the States. If you wanna do it legally all it takes is a Registered Importer, time and some cash. Of course there are other ways around it, such as having the car shipped over in parts and then re-assembled in the States. If it is in parts it will fly right through Customs. Or you could do some VIN swapping, a definitely possibilty when getting a car from say, Canada. You could buy a wrecked USDM MK3 and go to Canada, swap the VIN from the USDM one to the JDM one and drive it back. Pretty simple really, like I said earlier all you need is time & a little bit of disposable income.

Hah. except the only difference is the VIN on japanese cars have fewer numbers than those in north america. If you ever get pulled over by a cop who knows something about vehicle vins.. ur in some deep trouble lol.

All you'd have to do is put a USDM VIN on the dash of the JDM model, swap the windshield (JDM windshield's dont have to little "peep hole" on the lower left corner to see through to the VIN.) Cut out the piece on the firewall with the VIN on it and swap it with the USDM VIN. Thats all you'd need to do really to get it "legal".

If someone whas smart they'd pick up Swaq's Supra and go get an RHD from Canada. Do the VIN swap and hope that no one important like the DMV calls them out on it....But then again, if it is done right it shouldnt be a problem..
