Listening to the 1st vid threw me off too...it was a lot quieter in that one, so I don't think it's that bad yet. If she does the plug trick cold and it quiets down at all, then I'm def say it's rod knock.

Oh, and if you listen really closely, you can hear the sound...it seemed to not show up as well on the digicam...

The reason it doesn't sound as bad in the first vid is because the car had been idling for about 5 minutes in the second vid was right after I fired it up...
