As you guys know, I have been having problems with my car. Well I finally got it running pretty good. My turbo was about to fall off! It was loose as crap, and both gaskets were blown. My IC pipe from the turbo was also split. I don't think any boost was getting to my engine. LOL That turbo was a PITA to get off and on by myself too. I shimmed my wastegate while it was off, and now I am boosting to 10 psi, and it is staying boosted until I let off. It doesnt lose anything during shift either! Before it wouldn't get over 5psi, and it would instantly drop right back to 0. Wow what a difference! It is finally driving like a Supra! :biglaugh:

Yep, should sound a hell of a lot better as well (been through it myself)

Do you have all the supports on the turbo and manifold? There is one on the bottom of the manifold, one on the side of the turbo, and one on the top of the turbo. I've noticed the supports make a HUGE difference in keeping everything tight in that area...

It has the support on the bottom of the manifold, I didn't see any on the side or top, just the heat shields...

Yes we met, I was the tall guy in the flaming skull shirt. I asked if you and jay wanted to go eat afterwards, but jays wife had cooked for you. My car was the one at the VERY end with the primer patches. I was trying to hide it.LOL I am impressed with your katrina project. Esspecially getting to see it in person. That 2jz looks really good in there. Well it was nice meeting you, hope to see you again.

Yeah I am the same way. Maybe next time we meet my car will look alot better, and be worth remembering. LOL It already runs alot better. It is progressing. Its alot better than when I got it, thats for sure. I got it really cheap though for a 91, so I am not complaining. I like working on it, and I will feel like I accomplished something when she is back to all her glory. Kinda like you and your red car. :naughty:

Thats good news Aaron. You should come down saturday night and race at Bama with me. Aaron Kahn doesn't think it's my clutch that's slipping so I'm going to race, and let me wife film it and see if I can get to the bottom of this once and for all.
I hope your wife's knee is feeling better.

I will have to check and see if I am working or not. Sound like fun though, I gotta get a new rear tire first. Sucks that it had to blow out BEFORE I got to steele..lol

She is having some really bad problems. She hasn't been right since that damn Semi rear ended her and totalled out our Maxima. She has nerve damage in her shoulders, buldging disks in her neck, messed up back, hip, and left leg.... Unfortunetly, she may never be right again...been to every doctor around the last 6 months, and none seams to be able to help her.

One things for sure, we are suing the pants off that truck driver, so I might buy me a 1JZ conversion after the settlement comes in! :naughty:

Yes you can ride along. What size tire do you need? I have a whole set of sawblades with tires on them and you're welcome to the tires if you need one. I think they're sixteens though.

I am not sure of the size, but they are very low profile 18"'s. 18 = expensive....LOL If I get to come down, it won't be in the supra. The Altima gets alot better gas milage, and I wouldn't have to worry about the tires..:biglaugh: Thanks for the tire offer though. Did you figure out what you want for that strut bar since you got that new TRD one? I need one for my Supra.....
