yea first pic is before.....and it cost me shy of 3gs CDN....that included lots of rust surgery..that's stock 042 toyota pearl white mica

Nice it looks like they did a good job but the camera hides alot most people dont know but my paint job is currently and mostly spray paint lol cant wait for my car to go under the gun getting the white pearl from the MKIV.

Car looks great. btw, I noticed the trim that goes around the car is painted. Did they remove it, or did they paint it on the car?

they removed the moldings, painted the moldings, painted the car, then placed the moldings back on. Only thing i wish i had told them to do was to paint the SUPRA and TURBO on the rear moldings grey....oh well.

I you have a steady hand and a fine brush, model paint will work great. BTW looking great. I was considering doing that color myself, but decided on '06 Lexus Crystal White. Its gonna cost me around $800-$1200CAd to do, but I'm doing all the body work myself. They're just piming and painting. Well, so far.

I'm not to sure if it is or not. The body shop painting the car is going to get me a color chip to see how it will look. I really like the effect of gives, which makes me think it is a tri-coat, but it isn't a pearl.

The maybe I should take a nice vacation in the spring to Gulfport and get you to paint it for me. I'm sure on the paint code, but for the '06 Lexus IS 350 it is the white called "Crystal White" maybe you could look it up for me if yuo have a spare minute.

it is a tri coat but it wasnt listed for 06 but it was for 04. You can infact get it in a cheaper paint that isnt used as a tricoat. but still a base coat, clear coat paint. But it is originally a tricoat.
