While my car is in the shop getting an engine swap, it has left me to ponder other issues. My transmission shifts through all the gears VERY quickly. I'm talking, by 35 mph I'm already in OD and it does not downshift when I punch it. The ECT button has no effect. Possible solenoid problem maybe? Anybody? Also, I question the accuracy of my speedo. It's either off or my car is incredibly smooth. What's yalls average rpm at say, around 60 mph. Mine is about 22-2500 rpms. I feel like I'm going alot slower than that.:icon_conf

1st off, are you pulling any codes on the transmission? I don't know the procedure, but search it or look in the TSRM. Usually the O/D light staying on is an indication that error codes for the transmission are available for viewing.
