what's up guys....My name is Brent and i just got my 87 Supra about a month ago and i am doing a complete rebuild on this car cause i have always wanted a Supra. I started with the dash cause it just worked out best for me to do that first plus the old one was cracked terribly and was driving me nuts lol. But i designed a custom dash using the shell of the old one but basically redesigning the entire middle. So here is what i have done so far...

Now that it has been stripped and cleaned i started to modify the center part of the dash and the part around the steering wheel where the gauge cluster will be sitting. I used plastic and heated it up over a mock up of the gauge cluster to get the shape i wanted.

After the fiberglass we sanded all of it and cut out all of the holes and began to put body filler on it. Then the sanding and more body filler process began. By the way the person you see in the pictures is a friend of mine who helped me do this whole process.

I will be using Revolution gauges with a 4 inch speedo and tach. The rest of the gauges will be 2 1/16. But yeah its different and thats what i wanted lol still a lot of work left to be done though. I will be starting on the wiring harness here in the next week. Im making a complete new one cause previous owner chopped the origina up. I also have to remake the ducting for heat because i moved the vents and changed them to a round style. I also have to do the conversion from cable driven speedo to electronic as well. I will be sending my ecu to RCTS in Canada here soon so they can put a new chip in it and some other things they do lol. But after all that i will be putting the carputer in i just have to decide where to mount it at. Those are my plans for about the next month...

Could always integrate an s2000 cluster into the dash. that will give you all the basic stuff...friend did it in an altrac and it looks amazing.

Heres what they look like for reference
