well i have been rebuilding these tranny"s at work and your tranny"s probly not destroyed yet. Sounds like it needs new bearings also the syncros are not really meant for a unsprung clutch buy a new disc. You're dealing with a tranny with 100k plus on it then adding a unsprung disc.

Its a long shot but a torsen prolly wouldn't help the problem otherwise im kinda dumb founded with the infomation so far.. R154's are weak trannys blowing one without even trying is a bit weird. unless it was REALLY REALLY badly maintained ie. no oil lol

See the only reason I bought that clutch is because I was going to do my big turbo swap yada yada yada and ending up buying a bunch of crap. Started from the driveshaft to the IC. I got started, made it all the way past the HKS HG just got done with the Port match/ Polish to the intake and POW! My daily beater takes a shit. Well I was broke and carless so I had to drive as is. Sad yes I know. I ended working a crapload of overtime for a long time untill a month ago when I installed the 3rd. So I didnt have a choice really. So now the question is what are you guys running for H/tq on what clutch and flywheel if you dont mind sharing such info. Id just like to know for future ref. I WILL for the time being put the stock clutch back in. I did drive that car nicely and no I dont shift like an APE!! :biglaugh:
