My $300 paint job

Dustin, make sure you don't get mixed up on color. Best way is to take the gas tank and let them match it up. If you can get a color code, it will help but make sure you tell them to blend it to the actual gas tank cover.

It works better that way. The color code is not the best way.

Actually i didn't buy them beer, But i did build one guy a fully built b20 that revs to 9.5k. Made 230 vtec wheel horseponies yo!

I don't think even Dustin has seen this. My wife and I spent twelve hour's doing this. Going through these pictures makes me realize how much i need a built thread, if not for anything but to remind me how far this car has come.

What did you use to dye/paint interior trim/dash black?

Its duplicolor vinyl dye. It has been on there 4 years now with no chiping or peeling

I scrubbed them down with soap and water then wiped them down with acatone

I bought a parts car with this interior in it for 600 bucks..I parted the rest out and made all my money back. That is pretty much the concept behind every aspect of the car. Buy a parts car and build with the money i make off it. The sparco lap5 steering wheel was a must after i got the interior in. the old steering wheel was killing me and i thought it was a really nice touch.

should, Its always nice to have a little extra for touch up. a third coat of base would have been nice.
