My 1988 Celica GTS.... "Square One"

K, so this is a timeline of what I've done since February 2010. I picked this car up at a carlot in trade for a '95 Grand Prix and a little extra cash for tax & license....

Not much of a looker, but had potential..

Not too long after, wheels, tires, and some JDM/Euro goodies were added....

The interior sucked, but I found a person in Canada that had all the stuff I needed to make it respectable...

Some more of the transition...

Then the lowering project...

Cleaned up the engine bay...

A few months ago, a Jackass ran over my car in the parking lot at work...

Got it fixed, and this is how he sits after the shop was done, waiting to re-apply emblems...

An earlier shot last Spring at a Griot's Garage gathering...

Finally got a halfway decent stretch of weather, so I got off my duff. I gave him a much needed bath, and re-striped the repair area along with re-applying the side decals....

He was very happy....

Damn weather...Ah, well...Gettin the itch I am....

Looks good man, I almost picked up an ST165 a couple months back, but someone bought it out from under me.

Love that body style, especially the all-trac version (though rare). Styling looks like it was penned by the same person that did the MKIII.

Love them, only seen 3 All-Tracs in person, 1 in the junkyard (snagged the horn pad that says "Celica Turbo", PM me if you want it)...

JDM bubble Supra sidemarkers fit these Celicas as well, but it looks like you got rid of them.

Though this one isn't an AllTrac, I have one on my wish list. I used the JDM markers on the Supra, and used the Euro moldings with the marker delete on the Celica. Thanks for all the compliments, this car has been a fantastically loyal car, and will stay in the stable forever if I can keep him going !!!!

The el Nino weather took a toll, but still looking decent....

Got to brush up on some of the more advanced paint corrections on Detailing World's forums. Don't want to do a respray quite yet, as the paint still glimmers, just got beat up a little bit...

Still looking good man. Nearly finished with my Celica/Supra book that the old lady got me. Good read on the history of these cars, this one in particular was rather interesting...
