I can finally say exactly why I don’t like mustangs, On my way to work today, I saw 1 as I pulled out of my street, 2 parked where get my morning breakfast. Then 3 on the bridge to Tampa, and finally at a light 2 more next to each other!

That’s 8 mustangs in a 30 min drive from my house to work. It’s too much; I think that’s why I like the MK3 so much. I can’t say that I see 8 a day, I m lucky to catch 1 or 2 and its the same 1 or 2 in my area.

I like the look of the mustang and its not a ford thing (my wife has the exploder) its just there are so damn many every time I turn around there’s a mustang... :aigo:

Thanks!

Now I can see. :D

I agree. I rarely see any Supras besides my own. Other than the black MKIV I saw last week, I haven't seen one in at least a month. (Not including the cars I see whenever I stop by Jose's shop.)

i used to be able to count 25 - 30 mustangs every time i took a short trip to work on the transit bus to work in highschool. every inbred newfie in my hometown has at the very least one mustang. i have nothing against mustangs that have been worked on tastefully.

its just that where im from i used to get told my "japanese ricer garbage car" couldnt keep up with a real car (real car being the likes of v6 automatic mustangs).

thats more of the owners fault than anything else. there are just so damn many of them out there! :biglaugh:

yea I agree with ya stanzaspeed, average mustang owner isn't the cleverest character, there's some good ones tho.

that sad, average supra owner isn't too bright either. "I got mad b0000st yo"

lolz in general i think many car owners arn't the brightest. it takes a little guidance and involvement with a community of enthusiasts i think to help straighten people out.

some peoples idea of modifying a car unfortunately seems to be hitting up the ricer sections at canadian tire / walmart then calling it a day and claiming neon lights add mad h0rs3powa yo!

it makes me sad that some people molest perfectly good cars in the way they do. hell i wouldnt mind owning a fox body mustang or an older camaro for a 2nd project / drag car. when im no longer broke that is :biglaugh:

I guess I should feel privileged to have about 10 other MK3s here at work along with a few really nice MK2's and 2 MK4's. All driven by old fogies, but still nice to see. I guess with over 5000 employees, youre bound to have a few soopies.

ya, that's the truth.

there's alotta bad information gets passed around tho, 'cause everyone tends to have foolish pride about the car that THEY own, I mean the V8 guys are always talking about how much torque they have, as tho they'd never heard of the concept of 2 gears spinning each other before. And turbo guys, oh lord, look at any of the "can I supercharge a 7m" thread, and you'll see TONS of responses about how it's low tech, how it's hillbilly, "just turbo it" "turbochargers are more high tekz y0". Alternativly, look at the honda guys and how they rant and rave about the wonders that V-tec has gifted them with, like v-tec suddenly makes up for the fact that their car is being pushed by a 1.6L. Guy could try to stuff a 426 dodge into a civic, and the civic guys would all make fun of him 'cause it's not v-tec.

for that matter he could stuff that motor into a supra and people would make fun of him 'cause it wasn't turbocharged.
