Anybody used a 4.6 twin TB. If so any problems, TPS, linkage, etc?

I've got a Mustang flanged Accufab 75mm TB on a Ron R. FFIM. I never used it, but had it all set up. I used the Mustang TPS wired into the factory wiring, using an idle switch. According to the MaftPro, the voltages were fine.

Ed from australia had one on his 7mge.

I had talked to him on the phone about it. He said it made the motor ping (due to airflow not matching the stock tps maps during part throttle....but he didn't have a tuning device on the car so that may have been an issue. I know you have a maft-pro so that might do the trick.

he now has some wilde 1UZ in a mk4 supra but may remember some info on the project. I contacted him under EDS_Ma61 on toymods. I think he's now EDS_JZA80 on there.

Thanks guys I think the twin might be a little easier to fit.

Stock TB is 60 mm right?

I see spacers are easy to get ahold of, I have a extra "Y" pipe I can cut.

Yes Steve, I have the Maft-Pro so tuning shouldn't be a problem.

Another question. If stock is 60mm, most twins I see are 62-65mm is it worth it? I know I could use more air, just don't want to go thru some money and work to not realize any gains.

What about a 70mm, they are round and I think I would have problems with fitment unless I make an adapter with a slight up-swing.
