Muffler.

So i got pulled over today (NO ticket showed him the cheeks(; ) for having a modified exhaust....

Its a full 3" downpipe high flow cat. Muffler tip is 3" in, 4.5" out. I always thought it was to big but that was the only one i found and needed it. Parts are rare here. What would you guys recommend a silencer or a smaller muffler?
I have a NA muffler but that is i believe 2.5 ?

Well sort of i dont buy online. There is parts but not the ones im looking for. I usually have to drive out 1-2 hours out of LA. I know DM is around here but havent done that.

Not a whole lot of options for a stockish looking exhaust. Only 2 really come to mind, the HKS Turbo exhaust and Raptor Racing's exhaust (the one I have).

If I wasn't so cheap I would have gone with the magnaflow 12298 muffler. Instead I went with a summit racing turbo style muffler, 3" in / dual 3" outlet universal type muffler.
Magnaflow will look pretty much stock, and flow good too. Just pick one up and take it to a muffler shop to have installed.

No pretty exhaust tips though, although I like the raw look myself.

It works for me. Looks stock as hell. I'll let the cops go after the boys with the grapefruit shooter mufflers.

I don't have videos of mine, because my exhaust is loud regardless (leaking divorced downpipe). I dunno about the MKIII version, but I know on the MKII version fo the Raptor Racing exhaust they went to a better resonator so it should be quieter than mine is.

I'd bet the HKS Turbo exhaust would be quieter, but I don't know how you'd get ahold of one...

I dont want tips . I got a buddy of mine who works at oreily and they have it there so i could get a discount ! Just what i was looking for! Thanks!
