speaking of mouth problems: wisdom tooth coming in hurts like a bitch. poppy seeds have been getting stuck in this odd hole right above the new tooth, and they suck.

the earlier you get it, the better. they've got a vaccine for it now but i dont think it works 100%.

shingles is what sucks, but i got them early too.

I get bad ulcers if I brush with regular toothpaste. It seems crazy, but I usually "burn out" my ulcers. I numb the area with Orajel, heat up a piece of metal and press it against the ulcer. It works best if the ulcer is new and small, but I've taken care of big ones too. People use silver nitrate to accomplish the same thing except chemically.

Well, i finally figured out what it was that caused it - just before it flared up, i had eaten a fruit salad....a fruit salad containing two fruits - pineapple and dragon fruit (Pitaya).

I was mentioning this to my chinese girl-friend and she faceplanted when i mentioned it - apparrently its a combo thats guaranteed to cause havoc with your mouth and that its well known in China not to do something that dumb....

Oh well, live and learn i guess
