Are rim screws a must considering those are tube style tires?

You dont *have* to run tubes with them. Usually rim screws woudl be used if you're not gonna run a tube, btu if youre not gonna be running <1.5 60's, they probably arent necessary. the only way to tell for sure is to mount them and mark the tire on the rim and see if they move on the rim. Also, make sure you dont run too low of a tire pressure to prevent that.

so with a tube u wouldnt and with out a tube you would? i thought u would want them with a tube because the air pressure isnt directly seating the beat onto the rim and the only thing holding the tire is the tube. also are we talking about et streets or et street radials??

yeah i dont think 28" is gonna fit. it might, depending on suspension. but like others have said it will prob rub when launching. 27" is a tight fit, but works. hopefully it will work for you.

Tubes suck imo because if they move, it could shear the stem off and totally fuck up your day. And were talking about regular ET streets and not hte radials. Not to mention tubes are extra rotating mass...granted not alot, but every little bit counts

so the ultimate street setup would be 26x10.5x16 Et streets non radials no tubes on stock sawblades or 26x10.2x15 Et streets non radials no tubes on the lightest 15x8's i could find?
