I have a question im pulling out a 7mgte motor that im gettin ready to rebuild but i just wanted to pull the engine and not tranny.. already disconnected everything i needed to but i dont want to pull it out until im sure nothings connected.. i also heard that i gotta disconnect the clutch bolts from the flywheel is that true and how to do it?? Thanks!

I once pulled the motor w/ the power steering pressure hose still connected- messed it all up. As for the clutch, remove the two inspection covers, and you remove the clutch fork by pulling it straight out. Then you rotate the motor so you can get at each clutch pressure plate bolt.
