I ran on stock internals, even the head gasket (Retourqed of course) to 18psi and 240rwhp for quite awhile. It was fine untill I boosted past 20psi, and detonated some, that took out the HG, and later on the same motor, boosting too much fried the pistons. (However, I'm starting to wonder if that was part of timeing belt issue as a local 7MGTE just fried pistons at good AF's like mine did, but his belt sipped 6 teeth at the crank...)
I've since replaced the sprockets, and made sure the belt was good and tight before snugging down the idler pully bolt.
