most boost ran on a 1jz?

i have my single turbo on my 1jz and im running 18lbs. it is tuned for 24lbs. what is the most you can run on a stock bottom end with pump gas?

i have a safc
walbro pump
550cc injectors
cam gears
intercooler
gt35r turbo
3inch dp and exhaust
etc

With pump gas I would keep it under 20psi, 18psi is good too. A lot of that depends on the tune though. If it runs too lean it could blow up at 16psi.

I have been running 18 on the street with cali's shitty gas with no problems but I recomend getting a wideband o2 if you dont already have one

the guy tuning my car said i had more then enough fuel through the dyno that i could run more boost. at 18psi with my car misfiring from the plugs i put down 440rwhp. but the thing is he said i had more fuel. should i have him tune it up some more i wanted to be right at 500$rwhp. that was with my cam gears still set at 0 on both. messing with them would that make a big difference at 18psi?

You might get more horsepower in the midrange from the cam gear adjustments, but there is no way you could make 60whp more peak at 18psi from said adjustments. You are going to need more boost, probably about 24psi to hit 500whp. 500whp is like 575 crank hp, what size injecotrs are you running?

550cc injectors.i just got off the phone with titan and i gave him my dyno numbers with the a/f and he said i could probabaly run 23psi my a/f was perfect at that number. it started at 10.5 4000rpm and then 11.5 at 4500rpm and then went to 11. at 6100 rpm. that was on 23psi. so my next tune will be next week at 23psi and messing with the cam gears.
this is all on a dyno dynamic dyno. which people say shows 10% less then a regualr dyno. but oh well.. as long as its running good im happy

i've run 26 PSi on xylene on my twins before. no probelms... i dont think boost is the enemy but detonation / pre igniton
